I’m Tonya Andrews, MSW, RCSWI, a trauma-informed social worker and therapist passionate about helping people heal from trauma and rediscover a sense of safety within themselves.
Before starting ACT Therapy & Wellness, I spent several years working supporting youth, adults, and families through some of their hardest seasons. Those experiences taught me that healing isn’t about “fixing” what’s broken; it’s about creating space to understand yourself and grow at your own pace.
I founded this practice to create a space where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to heal without pressure or judgment. My work integrates evidence-based therapy, emotional regulation, and mindfulness practices that support both the mind and body. I help clients understand their emotional patterns, strengthen coping skills and cultivate self-compassion while working toward lasting change. I believe therapy is a collaborative space where your story leads the way. My role is to help you unpack what’s heavy, build emotional tools that fit your life, and create space for peace, clarity, and healing.
